Are you ever rushed to get out the door but your little athlete or you the athlete need a quick drink to go? I know I have and it's chilly outside. Time for a warm drink just before you leave to go to gymnastics or another sport. What I have here for you today is a easy recipe almost anyone can make and is easy to warm up on the spot. Apple cider, a classic.

What you will need

1)  A crock pot: to keep your drink warm and toasty at all times!

2) A half gallon of apple cider/ apple juice from the store: we're going to spice it up a bit!

3) 1-2 oranges: we're only using the peel

4)  5-6 cinnamon sticks

Let's get started!

This recipe is very easy. First pour your apple cider or apple juice into the crock pot. Next, take your orange(s) and take all of the outside off in pieces and add the peel pieces to your apple cider or apple juice in the crock pot along with your cinnamon sticks. When you have done this, stir it up and plug your crock pot in and turn it on to low or if you need for your drink to heat up faster, put your crock pot on high. Hope you enjoy!
